Mini User Guide: Wallpaper is the background picture against which your computer menus, icons, etc, are displayed. The wallpaper images provided here are in a JPEG file format at 72 dpi with a width of at least 1280. Although wallpaper is commonly used in all operating systems today, each platform requires special handling to correctly display the background image. Typically, a wallpaper image may be centered, stretched, cropped or tiled. Feel free to experiment with your chosen download to best accommodate your computer monitors resolution aspect.

These wallpapers are provided freely, in Appreciation of Buddhist Art & Culture, but we ask that you respect the work of others and only use these images for private use, for the purpose they were intended. All images are copyrighted by their respective owners and may not be used in print or other media, unless expressed written permission has been provided.

Please feel free to join our World Wide Wallpaper (WWW) Project - In Appreciation of Buddhist Art & Culture.

Photos must be 72 dpi with a width of at least 1280, also the file must not be larger then 2mb. The height may vary depending on your final, cropped size. All photo contributions will be uploaded for a period of review. Once accepted, they will become live, and we will be delighted to send a notice with a link to your photo.

Note: The amount of time required to upload your image will vary with your internet speed. Users with slower internet speeds may have to wait a while for the image to completely upload.
